Chimney Repairs Munster are a company with nearly 30 years experience in chimney repairs, chimney re-lining, lining, chimney building and
associated works .We have dealt with every type of chimney including period or early century type ,old cottage or farmhouse type, and of
course new or recently built chimneys. We provide a chimney repair & relining service to Limerick, Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Tipperary & Clare.
The majority of people at some stage throughout the lifetime of their house will have to re-line or install lining in their chimney flue chamber. The reason is that traditional clay liners have a maximum lifetime of between 20 to 30 years. The burning of wetter fuels such as turf or damp timber will reduce this lifetime significantly, also incidences of fire which can occur at any stage or other influences such as moisture/water intake will influence the life of the clay liners. 
It goes without saying that an damaged or badly working chimney flue chamber is a serious fire and/or health risk. All that separates you or your family from noxious fumes,carbon monoxide or fire is a properly functioning flue chamber. We have surveyed hundreds of chimneys over years and many have been in no condition to withstand a fire. 
The correct installation of any range or stove is extremely important.We are increasingly coming across serious damage as a result of badly installed stoves and/or ranges.
